Every year, Pokémon Worlds is an exciting massive event that we at Muxy get to roll out bold, new features at and 2026 is no exception to that. We’ve rolled out exciting new features that keep you clued into the action and engaging in maximum hype! These new features really encourage the audience and Pokémon Trainer community to dive deep into the world of competitive play.

Meet the Hype Meter

When the game gets hype, we want you to know! The Hype Meter pops off when matches and action start ramping up during the Worlds Competition. Trainers can engage in chat to help level up the meter faster. Watch emotes float across the screen as the bar fills with a big burst at each level. Get the bar all the way to Level 9 to max out your hype moment and activate a fireworks emote burst.

Curious about the games across other channels? The Pokémon Championships Overlay has you covered. We’ll send you a notification when the hype starts to get intense on other official Pokémon channels, so you don’t miss out on the excitement.

Not enjoying the feature? You can turn it off in the settings’ We’ve bundled the Hype Meter settings alongside our closed captioning feature, so you can customize your viewing experience.

The Lite Extension: The Pokémon Twitch Extension for Everyone

For the first time, features of the Pokémon Championship Twitch Extension are available to all Twitch creators. Anyone can now install and activate the overlay and get nifty Pokémon content for your channel to explore.

What’s in the Lite Extension?

Pokémon TCG Search: Twitch viewers can now search and discover more about cards in the Pokémon TCG game via this interactive card search.

Live Channels: Viewers can see which official Pokémon channels are currently streaming on Twitch.

Official Closed Captions: Streamers can select a source that allows their viewers to turn on closed captions for any official Pokémon channel. So if you’re co-streaming a Unite match, your viewers can turn on official closed captions for that channel.

Official Pokémon News: Twitch viewers can see the current news on the Pokémon channel. At the moment, it features links to the Pokémon Worlds and XP events schedules. Brackets and Standings: Twitch viewers can see live standings and brackets for games being played during competitive Pokémon events.

New Mobile Features, More Parity with Desktop

With this version of the extension, we’ve made even more features of the desktop overlay available in the mobile viewing experience. Now you can interact with the Pokémon TCG Search on mobile. See a card get played and want to learn more? Search for it in the dex and increase your TCG knowledge. The overlay also now has brackets and standings on mobile. See live match updates for TCG, VGC, Go, and Unite. On desktop and mobile, there are now deeper insights into the various competition levels (Masters, Juniors, Seniors).
